You can build a bibliography by marking items to save from one or more Search Results hit lists to a permanent list.
When you save items to a permanent list, you can add more items in future SirsiDynix e-Library sessions. If you keep items by adding them to a temporary list, the temporary list is retained only for the length of the current SirsiDynix e-Library session. See the Build Your Own Bibliography With Kept Items topic for more information about a temporary list of Kept items.
1 | Click +My List for the items to include in the bibliography. Marked items can be unmarked by clicking -My List. |
2 | When you are finished including items, click Permanent Lists. |
3 | You can remove some of the items in your bibliography by selecting the check box by the titles to be removed and clicking Remove Checked Titles. To clear the bibliography, click Remove All Titles. |
4 | In the Sort By box, choose to sort the bibliography by author, title, or call number. |
5 | In the Library box, choose to filter the bibliography by library branch. |
6 | If available, choose the All, Brief, or Full View of Records to specify the level of detail to display for each record in the list. |
7 | From the permanent list page, you can choose to view the bibliography online, print the bibliography, or e-mail the bibliography to an address you specify. |
You can maintain multiple bibliographies by creating multiple permanent lists. On the permanent lists page, you can select the list to which you want to save items, and you can rename a permanent list at any time. When you no longer want a particular bibliography, you can remove the permanent list.
