You can create lists of saved item records by using the Permanent Lists option. These lists of saved records are called permanent lists because they are retained between SirsiDynix e-Library sessions until you choose to remove them, or they are purged automatically by the library after a certain time interval of inactivity. You can view, print, or e-mail a list of saved records in the current SirsiDynix e-Library session and in future SirsiDynix e-Library sessions.
You must log into the SirsiDynix e-Library to create permanent lists or to access your existing permanent lists.
Permanent lists differ from a Kept list of records, which is created by selecting the Keep button for items in a search results list. The list of kept records is a temporary list because it is retained only for the length of the current SirsiDynix e-Library session. While you can create any number of permanent lists, only one list of kept records can be maintained in an SirsiDynix e-Library session. Refer to the Kept Records topic for more information on the Kept list.
You can view, print, or e-mail record information by marking items to +My List from a Search Results hit list or from the Details display. Marked items can be unmarked by clicking -My List.
To mark all records on a Search Results page with one click, click Save All on this Page.
If you have not yet created a permanent list, the "Create a list before attempting to save an item" message displays. You must create at least one permanent list and then save items to it.
Saved records are added to the currently active permanent list. The list of titles and authors on the My Lists page expands with each record marked +My List, and all Saved records are referenced when you view, print, or e-mail your Saved records on a particular permanent list.
From the My Lists page, you can place a hold on a title in the list. Click the Details link below the title you want to put on hold. On the title's Details page, click Place Hold to create the hold.
On the My Lists page, you can remove all or some of the items in your list. To remove specific items, select the check box next to the item and click Remove Checked Titles. To remove all items click Remove All Titles.
